Tree Time

Tree Time

Inexpensive. Simple. Worth it.

I love posting these craft ideas because they are so effortless. This one scores not only for the young kids, but any age. Plus, you may have everything at home.

Mom tip: buy craft supplies after the holidays/ seasons. They always have some on clearance & you can re use whenever.

Today was inspirited by the trees. Make sure to stop & see the naked trees, it can help us be little bro grateful for the branches when they come back.

What you need:

  • fork
  • paint brush
  • green paint
  • pom poms or beads
  • glue
  • paper/ card stock
  • paper plate/ or paint bowl

Directions:

  1. Squeeze green paint onto a paper plate or in a paint bowl.
  2. Dip the fork into the paint.
  3. There are a few different ways that you can do this. You can paint a tree like normal. You can press and stamp or drag the fork flat across the paper or another option is to paint a Christmas tree shape and then scrape off the paint.
  4. Let it completely dry.
  5. Get creative. You can add the items as garland, ornaments, snow, etc.. ( I try to do crafts with a lot of options to promote more creativity between my three.)

Allow yourself to be a kid & make one too!

Save this post for future crafts with your kiddos when they tell you how bored they are ;).
